The first pilot centers on Cumberland County, Maine. Northeast search coverage does not mean every state is enabled for listings or requests. Demonstration activity is clearly labeled fictional.
Participation
Browsing does not require an account. Accounts are for adults 18 and older. The current pilot uses a username, private verified email, and password. Keep account details accurate, protect your sign-in methods, and communicate respectfully. An age checkbox or social identity is not identity, age, or producer-eligibility verification.
Explicitly accept the current terms and acknowledge the privacy notice before posting, messaging, or applying as a grower. Grove records the versions and submission time. Security settings, reporting, blocking, export, and deletion remain available without accepting a new policy version.
Grove’s role
Grove offers discovery, nonbinding demand requests, and introductions. It does not sell products, collect payments, hold funds, reserve supply, arrange delivery, or verify completed purchases. Participants arrange any purchase directly.
Producer responsibilities
List your own harvest only within approved categories and household or business channels. The initial scope covers whole, unprocessed fruit and vegetables, fresh culinary herbs, and ornamental cut flowers. Cannabis/hemp, animal products, prepared foods, sprouts, mushrooms, foraged products, rooted plants, resale, and medicinal claims remain excluded. Meet applicable requirements and keep quantities, prices, dates, growing claims, and credentials accurate. Grove’s review is not government certification or a guarantee of legality or safety.
Buyer responsibilities
Describe household or business use honestly and directly confirm sourcing suitability, condition, quantity, price, and pickup arrangements. A request or conversation does not obligate anyone to grow, sell, or buy.
Content and conduct
No prohibited products, misleading claims, impersonation, unsolicited bulk messages, harassment, sensitive-document uploads, or attempts to bypass approval. You must have permission to use submitted content. You authorize Grove to display your submitted public content and process it to provide the service.
Moderation and appeals
Grove may return, remove, restrict, or suspend content or accounts over eligibility, safety, or conduct concerns. Reporting and blocking are available. Grower-profile appeals go through the studio; account appeals and other concerns go to hello@grove.markets.
Pilot availability and changes
The pilot is free and experimental. Grove does not guarantee harvest availability, participant response times, product condition, service uptime, or successful introductions. Future paid services require separate notice and agreement. We check support and reports on weekdays and aim to reply within two business days; this is not emergency or continuous support.
Changes and disputes
Material policy changes receive new versions and require the relevant acknowledgment before further participation. Contact support to investigate and try to resolve concerns. This process does not restrict rights available under applicable law.
